About SD College (SDC), Ghaziabad
SD College or the Shambhu Dayal PG College is a reputed college situated in Ghaziabad. It was established by Late Shri Rai Bahadur Shambhu Dayal Ji who donated all his property to build an educational trust. SD College Ghaziabad was affiliated with the University of Agra from 1962 to 1965. Since 1965, it has been affiliated with CCS University, Meerut.
The institute is accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with a B+ grade. The campus is located 1 km from the Ghaziabad Railway Station on GT Road. The Shambhu Dayal College Ghaziabad courses are offered at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in subjects like English, Economics, History, Hindi, Political Science, Sociology etc. Apart from the UG and PG courses, the college also offers PhD, skill development, and, co-curricular courses.
The vision of the college is to provide a positive atmosphere to the students for their overall development. It aims to rise above the inequalities of caste, creed, and religion, and create an enriching learning space. SD College Ghaziabad is also a study centre for IGNOU. The campus is equipped with various facilities like a library, computer lab, cafeteria, auditorium, sports grounds, etc. The Faculty is divided into three departments namely Arts, Commerce, and, Education. Moreover, Shambhu Dayal College Ghaziabad also functions in accordance with the NEP (National Education Policy) 2020.

The Shambhu Dayal College Ghaziabad campus is located near the adjoining border of Delhi, in the city of Ghaziabad. It is situated on GT Road which is at a distance of 1 km from the Ghaziabad Railway Station. The campus is a result of the funds provided by Late Shri Rai Bahadur Shambhu Dayal Ji who devoted all his money and property to establishing an educational trust. The campus has all modern amenities that help students experience an enriching learning environment throughout their study duration. Below are the facilities available at the SD College Ghaziabad.
Library
The Shambhu Dayal College library functions on a digital as well as the print platform. The library has an extensive collection of books, papers, periodicals, magazines, as well as digital resources. The resources add value to the research of students. The library has sections like the Reference section, the Circulation section, the Audio-visual section, Book Bank, and Digital Library.
Computer Lab
The SD College Ghaziabad believes in utilising the power of IT to its fullest. It has a fully equipped computer lab with 50 computers. These have all the latest software and applications to help students have a smooth learning experience.
